Vorab, ich bin kein PC Profi und habe die 60 Jahre schon lange hinter mir.
Ich will einen alten PC in einen NAS-Server verwandeln. Hardwaremäßig habe ich den PC soweit stehen.
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 (2100 MHz)
- 4096MB Dual Channel DDR2 667 MHz
- 3 Festplatten 2x320GB, 1x300GB
Softwaremäßig bin ich nach dem Artikel von Oliver Ehm (So nutzen Sie NAS4FREE) von com! vorgegangen. Download der Software, ISO gebrannt und versucht ein Boot-Stick 4GB (hatte keinen kleineren) zu erstellen. Leider blieb es beim Versuch.
Der PC bootet von der CD und läuft auch alles bis zum Erstellen des Sticks.
Nur wenn ich auf „Install/Upgrade NAS4Free from LiveCD/LiveUSB“ gehe, bekomme ich immer folgende Fehlermeldung:
Error: Partition layout does not fit on disk da5
Requested sectors: 35230545
Available sectors: 7856127
kern.geom.debugflags: 16- 0
Error: Failed to create slice/partition table!
Unmount CDROM/USB.
There was a proplem during initializing the destination disk.
Was mache ich falsch? Stick mit FAT oder NTFS?
