Ich hab auf Ebay günstig geschossen (dachte ich zu mindest) Kingston KVR1333D3D4R9SK2 2x4GB
Nur hab ich das Problem das mein Board zwar ECC unterstützt (Asus M4A785t-M EVO) nur ihrgendwie lässt es sich nicht dazu bewegen mit besagtem Ram zu booten.
tuht ich nun nehn ganz normalen Riegel ausem Desktop rein bootet er tadellos.
ECC im Bios is aktiviert, allerdings kann ich mit den ganzen Optionen da nicht viel anfangen.
Ihrgendjemand neh Ahnung wo das Problem liegt ?

Meine Antworten beziehen sich immer auf die englischsprachige GUI. ECC-RAM ist Pflicht beim Einsatz von ZFS.

Danke für die schnelle Antwort, auf den Ram Modulen steht 1,5v. Hab den Spannung schon mal auf 1,6v angehoben, wie ich das in nehm anderem Thread zu dem Problem gelesen habe. Geholfen hat das aber nichts. Werde mal ein BIOS update versuchen. In diesem Thread war auch die Rede das es sich um Registered ECC Ram handeln könnte, gibt es einen weg das heraus zu finden, und wenn ja ist das der Grund wieso der RAM nicht funktioniert ?

Habe mitlerweile raus gefunden das das ECC Registred RAM ist den mein Mainboard nicht unterstützt. Problem damit soweit gelöst
