Verständnisfrage - FLAC - firefly - iTunes

Post by kreuzberger »

aaaalso:

iTunes only support Apple's own lossless encoding format (ALAC), in order to import and play FLAC in iTunes losslessly, we had better convert FLAC to iTunes more supported Apple Lossless ALAC M4A.

Here is just a step by step guide at http://www.idealshare.net/itunes-quickt ... ution.html

Unfortunately, Apple's software and devices, like iTunes, QuickTime, iPad, iPhone, iPod, don't support FLAC format. To open and play FLAC in iTunes, a recommended solution is converting FLAC to iTunes recognized audio formats like MP3, M4A, WAV, AIFF, etc. How to Convert FLAC to iTunes?

Faasoft FLAC to iTunes Converter is just the professional FLAC to iTunes Converter with high output quality and fast conversion speed: http://www.faasoft.com/articles/flac-to-itunes.html

If you want to import FLAC to iTunes and won't loss quality, you can convert FLAC to Apple's own lossless audio format, ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec). If you care more about file size than audio quality, you can convert FLAC to a more common format like MP3 to gain more compression rate and smaller file size. No matter you convert FLAC to ALAC or FLAC to MP3, all meta data (title, composer, etc.) include album cover art will be kept.
