Hello. I see the nas4free has a LAGG function, my question is, does it require a switch that support LACP ? or can nas4free handle it, without my switch support it ?

not totally sure, but YES ( If I'm wrong, say me please)

I believe that Raulfg3 is correct, if you use the LACP lagg mode, the router must both support it, and be configured to use whatever two interfaces you are using as a LACP group.
I have this set up on 3 N4F servers, although im not totally sure i am realizing much benefit from it aside from failover. All my machines are in production use, so i don't get to mess with them often.

Other modes should work fine without switch support (unless otherwise noted)

(This is my understanding of it, and I'd love to be corrected if i am wrong)

I have set it up in my Cisco Small Buisness Pro switch wich has 2 etherchannels used (comined).
Still figure out the cisco part though

If you have LACP or LAG set up on two devices, and use crossover cables, it still does not work. This is because cable one does not always talk to cable one, and so on... You need a switch that supports it.
