The other Mother Board Asus Saber tooth Z77 (8 Sata connector)(expensive) its got an Intel Lan 82579V would any one know if either of these Intel LAN can be used with Nas4Free
Other wise Ill just go for a Asus P8H77-I Mini ITX(6 sata connectors) and use one of these Intel Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter PCIe but it restrict growth later

NAS4Free 9.1.0.1 uses FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE.

The link LA70 supplied lists the Intel Ethernet Controllers supported by FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE.

The list states "The em(4) driver supports Gigabit Ethernet adapters based on the Intel 82540, 82541ER, 82541PI, 82542, 82543, 82544, 82545, 82546, 82546EB, 82546GB, 82547, 82571, 82572, 82573, and 82574 controller chips". It also lists over 20 Intel Adapters.
