after update hard drive not showing in list, shows in boot as 4gb when it is 3tb. I am sure i updated correctly have been using since 2012ish. I feel it is a mount location, but not sure. Due to the damage that could be done wanted to ask you guys first. It is identical drives seagates striped data. I found a thread that https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/49782/ suggest to look at locations. Which i am going to do tomorrow. If the data is striped, can anything be recovered off second disk? What are my options? I will never run RAID0 again. Any documentation or suggestions are most appreciated. I had no smart errors nothing abnomoral. When i plugged it into windows usb, it showed the 4gb size as well.

Gonna document everything i do for anyone else. Ran seatools on it, failed short, long test, acoustic fires up. My research has told me the seagate 3tb are awful. I ordered an identical one from amazon with same firmware. once everything arrives gonna check out circuit board on hdd and inspect platters, if abrasd im F'ed. Hoping for damaged board or something i can get booted and quickly move data to existing second pool and then immediately deploy new solution. Will post back with everything i do and results. Will be moving to critical data to different pool/drives than media and things dont really care about using Mirrored Striped Vdev’s.
