More than one raid set on one controller card

Hi,Sorry I'm not sure how to search for this question as all the terms I can think of are too generic - the search engine ignored some of them already.
I have one mirrored raid set in my system already, and I'd like to expand by adding a second raid set. Can I do this using one controller card - assuming there's enough ports on the card - or do I need a separate controller card for each raid set?

You're right. In retrospect, my question wasn't fair. I wasn't thinking that maybe some cards can and some can't
The controller is a Promise PDC40718. I picked it when I set up my system based on the fact that it's one the N4F hardware list.
I have 2 2TB mirrored drives in the system right now, and I've just added 2 more. My plan was to have a second set of drives, mirrored.
I'm having a bit of trouble at the moment because I'm having trouble keeping track of the drives as I don't wish to format either of the 2 that are in use.
Under Drives-Management, the config looks like this (sorry I couldn't figure out how to get Snip-it to paste a screen shot)
Device Device model Size Serial number Controller Controller model Standby time File system Status
ada0 WDC WD20EFRX-68AX9N0 1907730MB WD-WCC300363650 ata2 Promise PDC40718 SATA300 controller 10 Unknown or unformatted ONLINE
ada1 WDC WD20EFRX-68EUZN0 1907730MB WD-WCC4M0868843 ata3 Promise PDC40718 SATA300 controller Always on ZFS storage pool device ONLINE
ada2 WDC WD20EFRX-68EUZN0 1907730MB WD-WCC4M3170388 ata4 Promise PDC40718 SATA300 controller 10 ZFS storage pool device ONLINE
ada3 WDC WD20EFRX-68AX9N0 1907730MB WD-WMC300002637 ata5 Promise PDC40718 SATA300 controller Always on ZFS storage pool device ONLINE
What I see here is device ada0 and ada2 are the 2 new drives (because I set up the standby time to 10 minutes).
I was able to format the second drive - ada2, but for some reason the first drive doesn't show in the list of available drives to format. In fact, only 2 of the 4 drives show in the list - ada2 and ada3 (and da0 but I'm ignoring that one)
Any suggestions as to how I get the other 2 drives to show in the list?
The other thing I noticed, is that when I go to Information under the Diagnostics tab, I get the following table.
What I see here is the 2 new drives are now devices ada0 and ada3 (I assume they have gone to standby and are a 0 rpm). The other thing, I think, is the device models are 2 different sets, although the model numbers in the table above are also transposed.
What would be really nice here is if the description that I typed in for the new drives when I set them up under management would show in either of the tables. I am going to go write down the serial numbers of the drives when I get a few moments.....

ok, I must be daft. I don't see a "sync button". Is it one of the options on the management tab? It can't be "clear config and import disks" because that reports back that the disk I just formatted as unformatted. The wiki pages doesn't have much detail for troubleshooting.
Sorry

Thank You. Drives formatted.
What was throwing me off was the new drives didn't show up on this page, so I didn't think the page was related.
