USB mount

Ok,
So I've been using nas for about a year now. I had to tear down the server a while back and just getting it back up. The embedded system really is the way to go. Anyway, I have a USB drive that is already formatted to USF. When I plug it in it shows up as a physical drive OK. But when I go to mount it I get the following errors.
You can't mount the partition '/dev/da0a' where the config file is stored. This shows up on the bottom of the page. Sorry, but I don't choose the mount point, so I don't understand the message.
When I press add I get the following errors
The following input errors were detected:
Wrong partition type or partition number.
/dev/da1s1: Can't get UFS ID.
dumpfs: /dev/da1s1: could not find special device
I can mount this drive manually by ssh to the server and running the normal mount command. It mounts fine and I can read and see all the files. I would really appreciate any help on what is going on there.
Thanks.
