how to use a zfs volume?

Post by crest »

Hello,
maybe a simple/stupid (?) question - how can one mount/use a zfs volume via the webgui. Searched at the forums/web and didn't find a solution. Shouldn't it be possible to format and set a mountpoint for a zfs volume via the webgui?

Thanks in advance

Usually ZFS volume is used as RAW device witch cannot be mounted.
iSCSI device, HAST device and VM storage is a common use case.
If you think create filesystem on it, here is an example:

Thank you for the fast response, I tried your description and it worked without problems. I just wondered If it's possible to perform these steps from inside the WebGUI
