Adding a vdev to an existing pool

Hi,

I'm running NAS4Free 9.1.0.1 - Sandstorm (revision 847) and just started using ZFS to replace a software RAID setup.

I have set up two 2TB disks as ZFS vdev, mirrored. These have been added to a pool, a dataset created, and everything works fine.

I now have two other 2TB disks. I created a second ZFS vdev, mirrored. Now I want to add it to the existing pool.

When I go to Disks|ZFS|Pools|Management I see the existing pool but when I go to Disks|ZFS|Pools|Management|Edit I can't see the second vdev in the Virtual devices window. If I go to create a new pool in Disks|ZFS|Pools|Management|Add , the second vdev does show up.

How do I add a second vdev to an existing pool? The WebGUI is preferred but command line is fine too.

Thank you!

You can add a second vdev

Disks|ZFS|Pools|Tools
Command vdev add

But you must destroy before the second pool created to use its vdev.

Disks|ZFS|Pools|Management
press the red cross next to the vdev to destroy
