Hi
I have a SSD which is formatted with 512b blocks rather than with Advanced Format /4k blocks. Ashift shofs a value of 9.
I removed the SSD (ada4) from my zpool, however via the GUi i am unable to reformat it with 4k blocksize.
How can i do that, maybe via CLI?
Cheers
Thomy

Re: how to reformat my SSD (SLOG) with 4k?
ssd need to erase an entire block before writing data to it. this is typically 128kb.
because of this there should be very neglible effect if your drive is not correctly aligned.
