copying files locally from usb drive (zfs)

by HeyRicardo
I have connected a usb drive (ZFS, from another pc running freeenas) and I hoped to copy files to nas4free main drive (UFS), but I am not able to create a mount point for usb drive (wrong partition number? tried 1 2 3 4 but it doesn't work).

Then I'd need to find out how to copy some files (or just a whole folder), maybe using file manager?
Never used rsync, but for one time need I'd be just happy with cp. Whatever, it's frustrating looking for something spendig hours for nothing.

(Sometimes I think these nas OS are not user friendly at all, nor learning friendly...)

ZFS is not the best option for USB drive.

try to use UFS instead on USB drive.

Raul is right, USB is not well supported, better use eSATA.

If it is ZFS, you need to go to Disks | ZFS and sybchronize the Pool as all the needed date is included in the ZFS filesystem.
