How to Install Plex Py?

Post by xr4t3d »

All,

I have recently found out what PlexPy is, and so far from what I have seen it is really nice! Now, the problem that I have run into is that I can seem to find anything that shows how to install PlexPy on N4F, however I have found info on FreeNas (not really trying to go down that road is I can avoid it). Does anyone how PlexPy installed on N4F, if so any instructions or links would be much appreciated. Yes, I have already consulted with Dr. Google but haven't found what I'm looking for.

Thanks,

John
Thanks,

John

I have not tested PlexPy (and unlikely will), but short googling give https://github.com/JonnyWong16/plexpy/wiki/Installation
If you are using freebsd jail, there is very little difference betwiien commands for FreeNAS and NAS4FREE
The only thing I could predict - localhost is not always well definied in the jail. So may be you will need subtle pyton script editind to change localhost to your plex IP
