is it possible you could do an english write up for this as i'm sure many people would be really interested in this plugin

This method avoids potential incompatibilities between NAS4Free's php (used for webgui) and the php needed for Owncloud.

Well, then your "+1" was in error. You were endorsing an English version of daoyama's installation of Owncloud (because you don't read Japanese). However, his write-up was converted to English by raulfg3, and is the thread referenced in my first reply.

You do not actually want an English version of his HOWTO for getting Owncloud working on N4F - you want a new feature added to N4F, and that should be in "Requests/Suggestions"
