NAS4Free is far too slow if connected through AC Wifi

Hi
I have the following problem of which also the AVM support personal could not help me.
I have got a nas4free server in a Gigabit Network. The transfer speed wired from my laptop to the nas is >90 Mb/sec read/write. So no problem at all.
A few weeks ago I decided to upgrade my wifi notebook to Wireless AC speed (Intel 7260 AC card and FritzBox 7490). I did not change anything to the network connection of the NAS. Nothing changed to the speed in LAN but ...
Transfer rate from notebook (AC WIFI) to NAS (LAN): 20 MB/sec
Transfer rate from notebook (AC WIFI) to another PC in LAN: 40 MB/sec.
So it seems that the Wifi network itself is OK and the transfer speed wireless is what you can expect. But transfering files from notebook to the NAS is not as fast as it should be.
Any idea what the reason could be?
Update:
Here are my iperf results from nas to notebook:
LAN: 929 Mbits/sec
WIFI: 167 Mbits/sec
Here are the results from nas to another PC (it is a satellite receiver running linux):
LAN: 667 MBits/sec
WIFI: 312 MBit/sec

No answer here in the forum?

It would seem the FritzBox is not performing as well as it should.
What were the WiFi speeds on the laptop prior to upgrade?

Before the AVM FritzBox 7490 I had the FritzBox 7390 with WLAN n.
I did not measure with iperf but it was on the level of what I had before (~10-12 MB/sec), so not that fast.
The Fritzbox 7490 itself is performing well I guess as I can reach those 312MBit/sec to the satellite receiver, but not to the NAS4Free Server.
Also the bottleneck cannot be the NAS itself as it performs very well if connected through LAN cable.
I am waiting for new drivers for the 7260AC ... maybe this solves the problem.

Is your NAS connected via wireless to the switch / router ? If yes can you move it so you can connect via a cable ? This would help narrow down the bottle neck.

yes the NAS is connected through a Kat7 LAN cable with the Router, the router port (switch) is configured with gigabit speed.
As already mentioned: If I connect the Notebook to the router with a LAN cable (on the same switch) I have excellent performance.
I have already connected both devices on differnet ports on the router with no improvement at all.

Thanks for the hints. All Ports are set to the "power mode". The green mode is not activated. Otherwise I wouldn't have >900 MBit connection speed wired.
It must be something on the osi protocol layer 3-7 which is slowing down the connection. Maybe it is also something on the FritzBox 7490?

I still have no solution found regarding the performance issue with my Nas4free Box.
Could it be that the network chip on the board ASRock H77 Pro4-M could have something to do with the problem?
It should be a Realtek RTL8111E Gigabit. Maybe the driver has an issue with this scenario?
Is there anything I can do?
I am just thinking about to buy a board with Intel NIC.

I have new test results and findings for my problem:
Here are my iperf results from nas to notebook:
LAN: 929 Mbits/sec
WIFI: 167 Mbits/sec
But from notebook to the NAS
LAN: 929 Mbits/sec
WIFI: 312 Mbits/sec.
So the write speed to the NAS is the problem. Anything I could do?

You did not say, so I am assuming your are transferring over CIFS... Turn off all CIFS caching. You may have droped packets and retransmits caught in a buffer.
