Right all looking good got THEBRIG set up.
now how to create jail for
minidnla (as I have seen you recommend this over fuppes)

the IP address cannot be the same as your Nas4Free!!! It also cannot be in the DHCP scope for your network, either.
I understand different IP
IP of NAS4free Is 192.168.1.104
what Ip for minidnla (JAIL)
can I use 192.168.1.103 ???

Also what other things do you recommend setting up as new to NAS4free & lovin It.
Has stopped me wasting my time on facebook & learning loads with help from you guys here.
THanks :)

as you can see your jail is up and running.

only need to add info to your fstab to mount your video / photo folder inside the jail. see: viewtopic.php?f=79&t=3894#p20142

DLNA is desing to work only in LAN not in WAN so fuppes or minidlna do not works as you expected.

Try serviio, not only have a UpNp server ( that do not work to send over internet your photos), but have a embeded ( and pay) system to serve videos and photos over internet ( you need to register serviio to use this feature).
serviio is simmilar to plex if you know it (actually there are no howto install on N4F) but there are a promise thread on Plex Forums: http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/top ... r-freebsd/

You can also consider to install owncloud to acces your multimedia content over Internet ( I personaly use owncloud to show to my family , my private photos), you can use in a simmilar way, and have a embeded multimedia module to stream your Videos.

no, it's mine , I only have 1M download and 256k upload

yes, but you need to compile from ports ( no difficult, but different from install from packages)
