my suggestion is to include 2nd level webGUI. Without any (or very limited) possibilities to change any configuration, but able to (just suggestions) :
1) have a simple view if everything is ok (e.g. no degraded pool or failing disks)
2) mount previously set-up encrypted pools (e.g. in case of booting after power outtage)
3) restart service (not turn on/off, but restart if set-up to be on)
4) ...
I would like to have my family to see whether everything is fine with server and be able to power it up without me being home. And I of course don't want to have them main admin password
