Hello.
I am using N4F 10.1.0.2 Prescience.
I have three iscsi file extents working fine.
I used to have an iscsi device extent/target, I needed to remove it from the server, so I did. Removed it in iscsi /target/extent, removed it from disk management, spun it down and removed it physically. And now, when I plug it back in I cannot add it anymore, and I don't know why. No errors in System log either.
It worked before. I plugged the disk in, added it as unformatted under harddrive management and then I could select it (/dev/ada0),
but know the only option in the menu is the N4F usb flashdrive and nothing else.
Bummer.
Did anybody encounter this and knows how to fix it? What could be causing this? Any tips what I should check?
UPDATE
If I plugin in another drive, which becomes /dev/ada1, I can select the ada1 drive as an iscsi extent, but not /dev/ada0.

Re: Harddisk missing from device extent dropdown selection
I used to have a single ZFS drive on /dev/ada0. I removed the dataset/ZFS volume from config and then the drive itself, and I thought that is all that is needed. But now I ran ZFS -> Confguration -> Synchronize. And now I can select /dev/ada0 as an iscsi extent again! Wohoo. Solved it
