Can't install to USB boot drive with LiveCD
I was trying to install to a 4GB USB key after booting the LiveCD. I keep getting error when it tries to create the files/partitions it needs on the USB Key. I've tried a number of different USB Keys. I'd like to post the errors, but it's all on the console. Is there a log file somewhere I can retrieve so I can post it here?

yes, revise /var/log/
12.1.0.4 - Ingva (revision 7743) on SUPERMICRO X8SIL-F 8GB of ECC RAM, 11x3TB disk in 1 vdev = Vpool = 32TB Raw size , so 29TB usable size (I Have other NAS as Backup)

Re: Can't install to USB boot drive with LiveCD
My bad!
Since I had 4GB of DDR3, it's default was to create a 4GB swap and the USB Flash was only 4GB. so that was the error. I changed the swap to 1024 and it installed.
However, I found a 80GB SATA SSD laying around and decided to use that as the boot device. Problem solved with swap file size.
Thanks,
Jim

better to use 80 GB SATA disk that a USB Disk, you can mount the 76GB free partition as UFS Data disk to store jails, donwload transmision files, etc... if you want.
