I have a new 10.2 N4F system with CIFS/SMB setup with a few shares and it's pretty much default with guest access setup.
So I can attach from Win10, Linux and Mac no issues. All guest.anonymous
My problem is that when I use Macrium Reflect 6.1 to back up a Win10 system to N4F, I can't seem to restore from it.
To restore you boot a USB or CDROM Macrium boot with Win PE 10 on it. When I choose the network, I see N4F , but it wants a login name and password. There is no guest option I can see. Didn't need it when I created the backup from Win10. I have a user on N4F, and it's the same name and password I use for Windows, but that doesn't work in this case.
Any ideas??

Re: guest not recognized on WinPE 10
I have not tested this yet, but wanted to post what could be a solution. Found this on the Macrium forum.
Please Note: When accessing network shares in Windows PE 10 it's necessary to prepend the user name with '.\' if the network resource is on the local network/domain.
For example enter '.\Administrator'
This is not required for earlier versions of Windows PE.

Re: guest not recognized on WinPE 10
even though WinPE 10 would show the nas4free shares, it would not connect. However, if instead of the name I used \\192.168.0.250\reflect-backup, it would connect without any login required. Which is what allowing guest users should do.
So this is a WinPE 10 issue. Just use the IP address instead.
