Problems after upgrade

Post by Mizma »

I had to reinstall N4F after some power failures. Afterwardes i figured out it was the router that some way got a hangup. But before I got to the router I did a system upgrade, I using a full install so I did it with a bootable usb. After the upgrade and routerfix I got in to N4F and all seemd good after I did a system restore.
But unfortunatly yesterday I could not start Transmission I get
"Error: The changes could not be applied (error code 1)."
when I try to save.
Today I when I trying to use the file manager I get this
"Warning: require(./_lang/sv.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/www/quixplorer/_include/init.php on line 128 Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required './_lang/sv.php' (include_path='.:/etc/inc:/usr/local/www') in /usr/local/www/quixplorer/_include/init.php on line 128 "
This seems to have to do with the language settings couse when I use english it works. I'm on my way to just whipe the OS disk and send in a fresh N4F. Anyone have a good idee how to fix this?

Please read

Also, bear in mind that if you use a Full install, you cannot expect support if something breaks. There is no way that anyone would be able to guess what part(s) of the system you damaged (accidentally or intentionally). You have been warned.
save the config.
install embedded on an usb stick.
boot from usb stick and restore.

install what you need in either a jail or in the new virtualbox system.
Nas4Free 11.1.0.4.4517. Supermicro X10SLL-F, 16gb ECC, i3 4130, IBM M1015 with IT firmware. 4x 3tb WD Red, 4x 2TB Samsung F4, both GEOM AES 256 encrypted.

Just to to add, unless you have lots of RAM/CPU power, stay with the jails method on Embedded for the add-ons/plugins, since a VM will be overkill, also will waste resources(overhead) for simple add-ons such as Plex, ownCloud and the like.
