[SOLVED] WebUI unresponsive during rsync

Post by nixIT »

Hello all,

I set up rsync today to back up my data to a QNAP device. All seems to be going well, at least the files are replicating. However, during my test run, I noticed when the rsync is running, the webui is completely unresponsive. When I click on a menu option (to check logs for example), the web page just sits as the loading indicator just spins.

I recently resilvered my ZFS pool, and while the resilver was running I could still navigate the N4F webUI with no problems. I would assume this is not the desired behavior. Have I set something up incorrect?

Any help is appreciated.

thanx

did you start that rsync via web interface? if yes, i think this is a normal behavour... if you started via cronjob or via ssh, that shouldn't affect the gui.

@spy0r,

Thanx, I did start it through the web interface. I'm running some tests to make sure everything works before setting it up as a cron job. I will mark this as solved.
