Hello everyone,
I seem to be running into a small issue. Yesterday (and the day before) my CIFS/SMB service was running perfectly fine. I have been attempting to get the service for the webserver up and running. Which, I was able to to do today.
However, I noticed that the CIFS/SMB service has stopped working even though I have it enabled. I know this because the shared folder does not appear in my windows explorer. I am still able to acces the webpage from chrome that is on the server.
I thought that there might be an issue with the ZPool but according to the NAS, the ZPOOL is still good. I am also able to see my files in the file manager.
However, there is on questionable screen that I saw. It was one of the diagnostics screens.I saw that twelve of the drives were labeled adan.nop (n being the number of the drive) while the other 12 drives were labeled just regular adan. I am not sure if this is significant but I thought that I would mention it.
Mainly though, is there any possibility that the webserver and the CIFS/SMB server can conflict with each other?

Re: CIFS/SMB service not fucntioning properly
OK everyone, Sorry about this. After hours of testing and trying and researching, there was an issue with my desktop.
I am in windows and after going to run->//ip-address-of-server, I was able to access the shared folder
