I am upgrading my nas4free system and am having a problem installing ver 2898. I am installing from a CD Rom and using the latest .iso image.
Ver 2898 will not install on any of my ssd drives. It appears to install, but after in reboot my system ( ASUS AM1M-A) will not see the new boot drive and goes directly into the bios.
I decided to use an .iso image of ver.2606 and it installs without a problem...I tried this on several ssd drives. Also I can update the new install to ver 2898 from the 2606 system.
My question is: What has changed from ver. 2606 to ver. 2898?
I have never had a problem installing any of the beta version of 10.3 or of 10.2. This seems a bit odd, but hopefully one of you more experienced techies can shed come light on this situation.
Thanks Zoon and the development team for great work.

Install from usb flash. Your cd may be at issue.

Re: Install problems 10.3.0.3.2898 vs. 10.3.0.3.2606
I can add my experience.
Been running Embedded up to 9.3.0.2 for years with no probs updating.
Now I decided to migrate to 10.x to maximize security.
I installed an embedded 10.3.0.3.2898 on another USB and it has great problems booting,
It gives the "invalid backup gpt header" error and then the loading is extremely slow.
If I install the LiveCD-version on the same USB in the same computer it boots very fast with no problems.
It also doesnt get the "invalid backup gpt header" error.
Installed on another USB, different make etc, same issues.
My feeling is that there seems to some sort of corruption when generating/or writing, the Embedded install in latest 10.3.0.3.
Atm I'm back on 9.3 awaiting further development on the issue. I'll try installeing different builds as much as time allows.
I'll gladly help with any info I can get you guys.
