Re: Could not stop any VM
OK well I have something to add.
I can not stop my machines lol. It requires me to stop phpVirtualbox from the Extension page. http://nas4freemachineIPaddress/vm_vbox.php
once you stop the extension, just restart it.

Re: Could not stop any VM
As this bug still persists here - is there a source of such old nas4free releases ?MikeMac wrote: ↑15 May 2017 17:26...
Apparently this old bug, already addressed by zoon1, now reborn
The bug is reported and confirmed long ago, but not addressed yet
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_ ... ?id=213019
Exactly as previously problem with VM could not stop is due to bugy libvnc lib. I'd just extracted older (namely 0.9.9) lib version from older nas4free build with this issue addressed (namely 11.0.0.4.3252, but not so important) Working library is libvncserver.so.0
...
At sourceforge older releases have been removed. A web search also didn't show them.
Can you attach the file (libvncserver.so.0) to this forum post so others can benefit from this workaround ?

Re: Could not stop any VM
VM-s don`t stop/reboot if USB devices redirect from host to VM-s.
(only some devices can be redirected to guest VM-s, without problems)
solution:
disable 3 options (Allow USB, Allow Serial Ports, Allow USB Serial Ports) in host plugin interface.
disable usb devices support, and delete all usb devices from list, in VM configuration in virtualbox interface, from all VMs
