[RESOLU] Drivers carte Adaptec 3805

Bonjour,

J'ai une carte Adaptec SAS 3805 dans mon PC de Nas4Free me permettant d'avoir 4 disques durs en plus de 2 disques connectés directement en Sata sur ma carte mère. Ces 4 disques ne sont pas en Raid, j'utilise ma carte Adaptec juste pour avoir 4 disques en +, c'est tout. En fait ce sont des disques qui me servent de backup la nuit de mes 2 disques en Sata. J'ai donc déclaré dans ma config de carte Adaptec une simple matrice de 4 disques.

Les 4 disques connectés sur ma carte sont bien détectés dans Nas4Free et fonctionnent correctement.
J'y ai accès et je stocke des données dessus. Le problème n'est pas là.

Le problème est que je ne vois pas dans le tableau de bord les infos sur ces disques telles que la taille et le nom du contrôleur.
Mais ils apparaissent sur 2 lignes par disque.
Une ligne avec le périphérique "aacdx" ("aacd0", "aacd1", "aacd2", "aacd3")
et une ligne avec le périphérique "passx" ("pass4", "pass5", "pass6", "pass7").
De plus smart ne fonctionne pas dessus.

J'ai récupéré à l'adresse suivante : http://storage.microsemi.com/en-us/spee ... %20FreeBSD de cette carte et la doc.

Il est dit dans la doc que FreeBSD n'est pas supporté ... Mais le driver pour FreeBSD existe tout de même ... bizarre.
De plus le driver est le fichier "aacraid_freebsd6_b17342.tgz", mais je ne sais pas comment l'installer.

la réponse est :
# lspci | egrep -i 'raid|adaptec'
mais je n'ai pas la commande lspci sur FreeBSD de Nas4Free. Je pense qu'il est possible de l'installer, mais je suis nul en FreeBSD.
Ensuite j'ai lu ailleurs que pour installer le driver il fallait compiler le code du driver et indiquer dans le fichier "loader.conf", donc pour moi dans Nas4Free dans les réglages avancés, cette variable : aacraid_load="YES".
Mais comment fait-on pour compiler le driver ?

une archive avec un driver compilé pour Freebsd 10.
En plus des dernières productions "Adaptec compatibles" il doit supporter les anciennes cartes.

Merci Sleid pour le lien.
J'ai récupéré le driver pour FreeBSD 10 et j'ai copié aacraidu.ko dans /boot/kernel comme lu dans la doc du driver mais au boot il disparait.
Ce qui est bizarre, c'est que j'ai les messages suivants (en gras ci-dessous) qui tendent à faire croire que le driver est tout de même pris en compte (avec la variable aacraid_load="YES" dans le loader.conf activé) :

PS : Seuls 3 disques apparaissent sur ma carte Raid car j'en ai un HS, mais cela ne change pas le problème.

Dans la liste des disque, rien de changé.
Mais quand j'active smart, seul le service sur les devices aacdx est accepté, mais pas sur les devices passx.

J en ai fait un dans le lord.conf mais cela ne marche pas.

Quelle syntaxe faut il mettre dans system/advanced/load.conf ?

Bonsoir,

Même question que ernie.
Cependant, après recherche sur internet, kldload est une commande FreeBSD qui charge les modules dans le kernel.
man de kldload ici : https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?kldload(8)

Donc du coup j'ai mis la commande suivante en "préinit" dans "Système|Avancé|Scripts de commande" :

kldload /mnt/pool1/partage/config/Adaptec/aacraidu.ko
et j'ai relancé mon serveur.
Le résultat est le même. Même messages dans le log.
Même fonctionnement correct de mes disques sauf pour les remontés d'info qui restent partielles,
les devices en double sous 2 appellations et smart très partiel.

Est-ce que sleid peut confirmer tout de même que pour faire un kldload je m'y suis pris correctement ?

kdload ne résiste pas au reboot, il faut le mettre dans un script préinit, en espérant que cela fonctionne pour un pilote de disques.
Bien entendu je suppose que vous êtes en embedded.

Bonjour,

Je suis effectivement en embedded (voir dans ma signature).
Et c'est bien par un script en préinit que je fais le kldload.

Autre petite question sur le sujet suite à mes expériences :
est-ce que Nas4Free natif ne comporte-t-il pas déjà le driver pour Adaptec et FreeBSD 10 ?
J'ai l'impression de n'avoir pas de message forcément bien différent sans ma ligne de commande kldload et il n'y a pas de différence
dans le fonctionnement.

Je ne peux pas vous en dire plus, j'ai déjà utilisé cette méthode pour une carte réseau realtek non supportée par une ancienne version de nAS4Free et cela fonctionnait.
Si Nas4Free a déjà un pilote pour votre carte, je ne sais pas si celui que je vous ai proposé est mieux et surtout comment l'imposer face au driver natif.

Je clos le sujet car :

- je mets en ligne de commande dans un script en préinit le chargement du driver avec la commande "kldload"
- la désignation de la prise en compte de la carte en question apparaît bien dans le log.
- j'ai accès normalement à mes disques
- l'exécution de smartcltl sur console ssh Nas4free me donne la même chose qu'avec l'interface web du GUI de Nas4Free (j'ai testé un peu tout les paramètres optionnels de smartctl ...)
- la carte est ancienne et peut-être mes disques aussi et l'ensemble permet une récupération d'éléments réduits via smartctl.
