N4F using 10.3.0.3 - Pilingitam (revision 2987) Embedded on ASRock E3V5 WS, could not get the WOL to work on the motherboard's network port (despite the Mobo specified as supporting WOL).
It looks like the Intel Ethernet nic on this MB has WOL disabled by-default, and it is necessary to enable this running an Intel provided utility (see http://n4f.siftusystems.com/index.php/2 ... 814-141236).
Tried to do that without success. Another option was to do a temporary install of windows, run the nic utility, then go back to N4F, but that looked like too complicated as well. Eventually selected a simpler hardware solution, which was to get a PCI-E nic (used Edimax EN-9235TX). This was configured as the OPT1 network interface. Now the WOL option appears in the Network/OPT1 menu on the gui. Using the WOL_Magic option the WOL function works.
