I want to confirm what I need to do to upgrade from NAS4Free 10.3.0.3 (3330) to 11.0.0.4.3330.
1. I first do a backup of my configuration using the GUI and download that to a PC on the network.
2. Then I install NAS4Free 11 from the LiveCD/LiveUSB image overwriting my boot USB flash I'm currently using.
3. Setup networking interface and IP address.
4. Restore configuration from backup via the GUI. Now my drives (UFS and ZFS) should be back exactly as they were.
Do I have this right??

Re: Confirming my upgrade path?
Maybe this is to be expected , but when trying to do the preferred options for installing on a HD/SD/USB I had an issue with the preferred GPT partition table. Keep failing. If I chose the Legacy MBR method, it formated my USB boot key and installed fine and created a swap partition on it as well. So it's working fine, the restore of my configuration worked, but is there some problem with formating a Sandisk 16GB USB Flash key as GPT?
Legacy should not be a problem with a boot drive of only 16GB.

Re: Confirming my upgrade path?
I notice same problem with 8GB USB Stick, but I suppose is a Board Problem not a USB or BSD Problem ( Not Totally sure).jfabernathy wrote:, but is there some problem with formating a Sandisk 16GB USB Flash key as GPT?

Perhaps some developer read this post and can claryfy if is normal to need to select MBR option instead GPT on your and my hardware.
