disks status = MISSING

Post by SpaceOwl »

I have two NAS4FREE nodes configured for HAST and ZFS one works and shows ONLINE under Disks > Management > HDD Management, the other fails to read the disks and says MISSING shown here: http://prntscr.com/eknsbs

It also shows Device not found here: http://prntscr.com/eko59w

Why are my disks reported missing i don't know, both nodes are exactly the same and the HDD's are blinking and functioning fine. I tried importing with clear configuration, rebooting and formating the drives none worked. Both nodes have the same firmware for the controllers....

Please advise what does MISSING mean?

Hi there hailtheme,

yes i have tried, unfortunately i think the problem is i can't import the ZFS pool from nas 1 to nas 2 because i don't know if how this works exactly. I need more specific instructions XD This is what it says, and it gives an error when i try to import it on nas 2: http://prntscr.com/el0aly

*Edit*

I remade the pool on NAS 2 now the disks are missing again XD and i initialized HAST... hmm
