hello, I upgrade 4141 Full ZFSRoot to latest 4195 and understand that a new menu to update next releases from webGUI were added, but still do not appear.
Is normal?
only is show from new install?.
I do the update from liveUSB and updating ZFSRoot properly.

Hi raul, provably the old web bits are still cached, you have to logoff/clear browser cache then login back.

ok, you are right is a cache problem ( I'm sure that push "Ctrl-F5" on Firefox to flush cache first time), but this time works as expected.
Thanks a lot:

Re: NAS4Free 11.0.0.4.4195 released (FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-P9)
Thanks raul for confirming, I also have the same cache issue here(either Embedded or Full), were I am completely unable to fully clear FireFox cache other than logoff/login back, or simply close/re-open the the browser.

Re: NAS4Free 11.0.0.4.4195 released (FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-P9)
Since upgrading Samba is crashing quite often.
Googling wasn't very helpful. One thread did mention updating libtalloc2 fixed it for them.

Re: NAS4Free 11.0.0.4.4195 released (FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-P9)
Attempt to upgrade from 4067 to 4195 - it happened again - after embedded upgrade using web interface the server didn't reboot. The same as explained in my post regarding previous upgrade: viewtopic.php?f=78&t=12243#p76689.
In fact my last three upgrades (from 3948 to 4029, from 4029 to 4067 and from 4067 to 4195) using web interface failed. The symptoms are the same - the following message appeared on the console: "OS halted, press any key to reboot", but pressing any key didn't work. I was forced to press the power button to resolve the issue. Fresh install using LiveUSB has been successful.

Re: NAS4Free 11.0.0.4.4195 released (FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-P9)
Yeah, the exact same thing has been happening to me quite frequently on one of my servers. I have given up on 11.0 embedded on a usb dongle as I can't trust a remote upgrade to complete. I paid dearly for SLC usb sticks and I know they aren't the problem. So I am building a new main server on current "real" server hardware that will be a Full RootOnZFS install on a single or mirrored pair of 20GB SSDs. I hope you are able to resolve your issues. Good luck.Attempt to upgrade from 4067 to 4195 - it happened again - after embedded upgrade using web interface the server didn't reboot.

Hi Jose,
I have the same problem but it has not been fixed by clear browser cache. Any idea?
In my other full install (11.0.0.4.3460) never see this firmware update. and now I upgrade this to 4195
thanks!

Hello, this cache problem after a Live Firmware upgrade is a known issue, also possibly related to select web browsers, the recommended action after such upgrade is to fully clear the affected browser cache, or even re-login to the account, hope this problem will be addressed soon respectively.
This new feature is only for NAS4Free RootOnZFS, and recommended for Developers/Advanced users generally already familiarized with ZFS.In my other full install (11.0.0.4.3460) never see this firmware update. and now I upgrade this to 4195

Re: NAS4Free 11.0.0.4.4195 released (FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-P9)
I continue with ipv6
It partially work when ipv6 address defined as auto
But now gui not accessable over ipv6, browser wrote this site cannot be reached
I check
Socket for lighttpd not open
I check /var/etc/lighttpd.conf
Oups!!!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Then I define ipv6 address manually as 2a03:2260:200e::5 / 64 and router as 2a03:2260:200e::1 /64
I have not access to webgui over ip and over ipv6 after reboot
But ssh work
I check
I defined ipv6 as 2a03:2260:200e::5 / 64 - it not present
I try check lighttpd
Ok, I set inet manually and start lighttpd
OK, I have access over ip, but not have ipv6

sounds like you have a modified Hosts Allow (System > General) and forgotten to add the IPv6 address range.alexey123 wrote: ↑02 May 2017 00:21I continue with ipv6

Re: NAS4Free 11.0.0.4.4195 released (FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-P9)
You right, when I define hostallow I have access to gui

But NAS4Free have fault at ipv6 - when user define static ipv6, server must:
1 define 2 ipv6 addresses - link-local and user defined
2. I think, need allow lighttpd (webgui) socket on link-local subnet
3. Hosts from local networks must be allowed automatically
Am I right ?
