For context, this is a test machine I use to test HBA cards and disk drives.
I created a mirrored pool, ran my tests, and then use the ZFS tools from the GUI to destroy the pool. But, the Disks>ZFS>Pools page still lists the pool that was just destroyed. That is, it shows the name and "unknown" for all values.
If I go to Disks>ZFS>Configuration>Synchronize and select "Synchronize", I get the message "Nothing to synchronize". And the old pool still shows up on Pools page.
If I go to Disk>ZFS>Pools, select the pool and click "Delete" then "Apply changes", I get the message "The configuration has been changed... If this message persist take a look at the system log for more information". The pool entry does not go away. If I reboot, it is still there.
So how do you have NAS4Free correctly show that there are NO pools on the machine anymore?
Thanks,
craig

Try zpool destroy <pool name> from command line

Re: Pool still listed after being destroyed; can't resynch & can't delete it
The pool was already destroyed (using the GUI); so I can't destroy it again.
The issue is not the destroying, but that the destroyed pool's name still shows up in the GUI's list of ZFS pools (with "unknown" for values).

Re: Pool still listed after being destroyed; can't resynch & can't delete it
option 1 is to
create a temporary virtual device and a temporary pool, then synchronize.
Once done delete the pool and the vdevice using the WebGUI (Disks > ZFS > Pools and Disks > ZFS > Virtual Device).
option 2 is to
manually edit config.xml and remove the wrong information.
