Hi everyone i am new, i just created a raidz1 with 3x3tb hd, i thought i saw 6tb useful, instead, i see 8tb usable, is it correct?

you can see in Diagnostics > Information > Space Used = 5.1TB available for use

8.12TB in Disks > ZFS > Configuration > Detected is the size of your 3x3TB pool

7,92TB Free in Disks > ZFS > Configuration > Detected is the free space (included parity data) = 5.1 available for you

no need to sorry, really I agree that free amount of data available on a ZFS pool is not well show, my point is that the usefull info is to know available space, not detected free space.


But this info is the info show historically , so not know if is possible to change and what side efect can take.
