Hi nas4free!
I had an itch to tune my zfs settings on NAS4Free 9.2 and because of that, the embedded USB setup does not boot anymore (it gets stucked on GCC 4.2 .... during boot).
So I re-flashed another USB drive and plugged that in instead, to boot my system up. Unfortunately I did not back up my config before my tune-up (stupid move) and hence, I'm in this situation where I do not see my ZFS pools I had previously.
I tried adding my disks and synchronise in the ZFS|Configuration|Syncronize page but it spits out, "Nothing to synchronize"
I hope I can get back my ZFS data cos I just backed up my files on them before I stupidly broke the system.
Thank you in advance!

Re: Lost ZFS configurations and pool
try to do "Clear Config & Import Disk".
Then need to Import pool, perhaps, you need to force iport (-f from shell) or push the import button twice on webGUI.
Once imported, you can sync webGUI & real

Re: Lost ZFS configurations and pool
Thanks guys for the tips!
What I happened to do was to mount the old usb (luckily it was not corrupted), copied the config.xml and import it using my new USB drive. It worked like a charm.
