Nas4free deactivates the wol when the PC is turned off

Post by gfranco51 »

Hi everyone, I have a little problem with Wol, I hope you can help me. I activated on the motherboard wake on lan pc with nas4free, I then installed on my PC client the wake on lan program that allows you to find in the local network all PCs with wol of course must be turned on and acquire data for access and it stores in a database. I turn on my nas4free and I see that the network card is activated by turning on the green led, I send the inpulse from the client and the nas comes on, perfect everything seems ok. Now I do the reverse test, from the webGui turn off the nas and unfortunately I see that the led of the network card also goes off. I try to send the impulse again, but nothing does not start again. I remove the power supply to the nos and then reinsert it and the network card's file is switched on again. Most likely I also have to configure nas4free., But I do not know how to do it, I read a lot, but I did not find anything anyone says that you can activate from the webgui, but I have not found it. I would like to get help on how to set nas4free with active wol magic.

Are there any "green" features enabled in BIOS for the motherboard LAN? I think it's the NIC and not N4F.
