Hi folks,
I have the following questtion regarding the replacement of disks and not updated information in the vDev:
First of all some infos about my setup:
- Supermicro X10SLM+-F
- Intel Xeon E3-1271v3
- 32 GB ECC RAM
- LSI SAS 9300-4i HBA
- 3x 3 TB WD Red
- N4F 11.1.0.4 - Atomics (revision 5019)
I replaced my disks to increase the size of my NAS as following:
- connect new HDD (8 TB WD Red) to (free) Port 4 of LSI HBA
- Disks > ZFS > Pools > Tools > Replace
-- Choose old disk on Port 3 and new disk on Port 4
- Resilvering
- detach old disk from Port 3
---
- attach new disk on Port 3
- Disks > ZFS > Pools > Tools > Replace
-- Choose old disk on Port 2 and new disk on Port 3
- Resilvering
If I now look into "Disks > ZFS > Pools > Virtual Device" I only see the two old disks. Why is the vDev not updated?
Anyone an idea? Thank you!!
Below some Screenshots, in case you need them:

Re: vDev not showing disk after replace?
you could try going to Disks > ZFS > Configuration > Synchronize and syncing the gui.
