Is it possible to add support for the WinChipHead USB toSerial adapters?

Hi, I assume you mean it is not included in NAS4Free ?
Did you already load is as seperate module, you can get it from the iso you can
download from FreeBSD.org
(I checked, uchcom.ko is in /boot/kernel/) I could load it with kldload, but I have no such cable to test it.

The driver is not included in Nas4Free.
I used module from my other system and it works fine.

Now, I'am compiling my own version of Nas4Free (with driver compiled in).
