NO, in native mode ( you always can share a folder and encrypt conten (or containers) on client machine that need truecryp & Password).

But is easy in Nas4Free to encrypt entire disk , see wiki: http://wiki.nas4free.org/doku.php?id=do ... encryption
12.1.0.4 - Ingva (revision 7743) on SUPERMICRO X8SIL-F 8GB of ECC RAM, 11x3TB disk in 1 vdev = Vpool = 32TB Raw size , so 29TB usable size (I Have other NAS as Backup)

If you finally aim to use GELI, select AES, is the most optimized module, and the best in security ( or do some test using other algorithms to verify my assert).

and remember that security is opposed to troughput, if you have 50 to 70 MB troughput without encriptation, 20 to 30 MB is expected if you use GELI.
