I am testing snapshot functionality in nas4free.
Everyting goes right exept I could not manually delete nor snapshot created from web gui, not clone.
But from command line destroy is working fine.
How I do it (long explanation of step-by step procedure to avoid doubt)
come to Disks|ZFS|Snapshots|Snapshot
press +
choise my pool (Pool) and type snapshot name (testsnap), press add
OK- snapshot created
now let me destroy one:
press red x at snapshot string
dialog appears "Do you really want to delete this snapshot?"
yes
apply - and no result
Tail of zpool history Pool command:
2012-10-08.01:20:45 zfs snapshot Pool@testsnap
let destroy snapshot from CLI
nas4free:~# zfs destroy Pool@testsnap
and see history
nas4free:~# zpool history Pool
...
2012-10-08.01:20:45 zfs snapshot Pool@testsnap
2012-10-08.01:24:18 zfs destroy Pool@testsnap
so now it works
reload of page Disks|ZFS|Snapshots|Snapshot salso shows, that Pool@testsnap disapears.
The same problem exist, then I try to delete clone.

Hi, no error at Diagnostics|Log
last messages are from startup sequence
Oct 8 23:15:39 nas4free mt-daapd[2258]: Scanned 451 songs (was 451) in 3 seconds
Oct 8 23:15:39 nas4free mt-daapd[2258]: Updating playlists
Oct 8 23:15:39 nas4free mt-daapd[2258]: Starting playlist scan
I had played additionally and found, that snapshot could be deleted not by pressinx red x, but pressing wrench icon and then action->delete.
After all, this is enough for me.

Re: Snapshots and clones could not be deleted from GUI
SOLVED
I have found a solution. There was something wrong with nas4free configuration. I've done reset to defaults and manually retyped all parameters, have imported all disks and zfs stuff.
Now the following problems gone
- impossible to delete clone or snapshot
- impossible to make firmware upgrade from GUI (no Enable Firmware Upload button)
Before doing this I had played and found, that if I make reset to defaults, I could see Enable Firmware Upload button
But if I've restored config - Enable Firmware Upload button disapears.
If there is need, I could provide both versions of config files - faulty and new, after retypind all params
