Re: XigmaNAS 11.2.0.4.5975 released (FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-P2)

box 1 -
upgraded via GUI up 1 version to latest
has existing VM running fine previously
phpvb pass changed
box 2 -
upgraded via CLI up 3 versions to latest
no previous VM enabled
enabled virtualbox just to check
still at default (so that rules out wrong user:password)
both - gave error
Exception Object
(
[message:protected] => Could not connect to host (http://127.0.0.1:18083/)
[string:Exception:private] =>

[file:protected] => /usr/local/www/phpvirtualbox/endpoints/api.php
[line:protected] => 134
[trace:Exception:private] => Array

[previous:Exception:private] =>
i am doing both over WAN and not locally if that makes a difference (im seeing 127.0.0.1:18083)
i have checked the api.php and recovery.php file

Re: XigmaNAS 11.2.0.4.5975 released (FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-P2)
The issue was caued by an empty parameter passed to iconv which stripped multibyte characters from config.xml during boot.
You can test with characters like Ñ¿.

just enter text in any comment field in your language including special characters. It must not disappear after a reboot.raulfg3 wrote: ↑09 Sep 2018 13:13yea but not sure how to test, please can you post an example of how to test?ms49434 wrote: ↑09 Sep 2018 12:25The issue was caued by an empty parameter passed to iconv which stripped multibyte characters from config.xml during boot.
