Re: XigmaNAS 11.2.0.4.6229 released (FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-P5)
Hi, I see upgrade of virtualbox-ose to 5.2.22 appeared again. Does that mean the VNC issue has been fixed upstream in FreeBSD?

We applied the patch before it was upstream fixed on FreeBSD ports so yes, novnc is of course working in this release!

Re: XigmaNAS 11.2.0.4.6229 released (FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-P5)
Hi
Is it possible to add a support for NICs with 1000baseT "media" mode in next releases? Cheap onboard LAN adapters doesn't have 1000baseTX and 1000baseTS mode. There is only compatible 100baseTX in Network > LAN Management > Advansed Settings.
Thank you!

Eh. Any gigabit-capable NIC hardware must support autonegotiation per 802.3 specs. If yours does not, I'd strongly suggest to return the broken HW to the seller.

A UI change may be required in HDD Format
Surely it has to be one or the other?

Re: XigmaNAS 11.2.0.4.6229 released (FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-P5)
not enough info to help you, common suggest are:
Do you try a fresh install?.
Do you try different boot options MBR/GPT/ZFS UEFI on XigmaNAS install shell?
etc...

I try to do "fresh install" , but it hangs at the same place (first menu with boot options). Result is the same.

Re: XigmaNAS 11.2.0.4.6229 released (FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE-P5)
revise Gigabyte BIOS Options and remember that you can do the fresh install on otrher machine and then move boot device to your motherboard and MUST boot & work.
My sugest is that use ZFSonRoot install to easy updates from webGUI.

No, but I think it shouldn’t work because installer image can’t boot too.raulfg3 wrote:do you try to install on other machine and then move the boot disk to your motherboard?.

[RESOLVED]
I been cack-handed when crimped cable. 2 wires were crossed-over and router NIC recognized just 2 pairs. Xigmanas see my "gigabit" Realtek NIC as appropriate.
