Hello everybody,
my enviroment:
Xigmanas 11.2.0.4 - Omnius (rev. 6195)
UPS Atlantis Land A03-P841
UPS driver: nutdrv_qx
version: 2.7.4 (0.28)
All works fine, Xigmanas shut down properly when power supply goes off, but during the normal work I receive a lot of email like these:
first email: - Communications with the UPS ups1@localhost are lost
second email: - Communications with the UPS ups1@localhost are established
Is there a way to solve this issue?
Thanks so much for your kindly help
Best regards
Dario

Read this thread: /viewtopic.php?f=46&t=13361
Some people including me had the same problems. Check your system log if the "data stale" messages appear. If this is the case, check if your LAN connection is OK or if your LAN works under heavy load.

Hardly ideal, but a hacked up script and cron keeps me from getting too many "lost connection" e-mails:

Re: Communications with the UPS are lost /established
I was having the same issue and it was an indicator of a bigger problem. I had exactly the same thing happening. I was running nas4free at that time.. with Plex and some other on board apps. The root cause was that my server was overloading and dropping the USB connection when it was overloading. I was able to figure this out by looking at the CPU Usage.
