Re: XigmaNAS 12.0.0.4.6737 released (FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-P5)
Hello
Thanks you very much to developpers for this new release
Upgrade was fine and I move to GPT boot. Some issues but linked to the setup of bios.
On my nas 1, issues with plex. I will investigate and put another post on this issue.
Edit:
I seen this new warnings in logs:
With version 11. it was fine. How can I solve this ?
I didn't add such parameters in in sysctl.conf, it was default setup.
Thanks for your help

Re: XigmaNAS 12.0.0.4.6737 released (FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-P5)
All went OK in transition from 11. I was a little nervous when openvpn wouldn't start at first, but as soon as I upgraded all pkg's to 12, it was fine.

Re: XigmaNAS 12.0.0.4.6737 released (FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-P5)
Spoke too soon - with upgrade to XNAS 12, jackett service starts and then immediately stops. I have the latest pkg version, and I'm getting an extensive list of errors.
Jackett is invaluable to me in conjunction w/ Sonarr. May have to go back to XNAS 11.

XigmaNAS 11 series are not EOL yet, so no problem to stay on 11.2.0.4 a bit longer.

these settings are added to sysctl.conf when you enable tuning of some kernel variables in System > Advanced >> Platform and Performance Settings > Tuningernie wrote: ↑08 Jun 2019 12:10Hello

Re: XigmaNAS 12.0.0.4.6737 released (FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-P5)
May the upgrade to Xnas be made simply as update of the embedded Version based on FreeBSD 11 or is a fresh install recommended ?

Re: XigmaNAS 12.0.0.4.6737 released (FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-P5)
The problem definitely lies w/ XNAS 12. Just to make sure, I did a complete fresh install and then added only the jackett pkg and its dependencies, and still the same problem - it would start, and then stop within a couple of seconds w/ a lot of error messages.
I'm back to XNAS 11 6737, and all is good.
