encfs

Is anyone else running encfs (package fusefs-encfs) on a NAS4Free? I've tried installing the latest package with

pkg_add -P /mnt/pool1/apps -r fusefs-encfs
Everything appears to install fine but as soon as I mount an encfs filesystem, the mountpoint directory disappears and any attempt to list its contents results in a 'bad file descriptor' error. I'm pretty sure this is a FreeBSD issue not specific to NAS4Free.

Some background: I've been trying to upgrade my rather old version of FreeNAS embedded (0.7.2.5153) with 2x mirrored ZFS drives to the latest NAS4Free. Everything else works except encfs, but encfs is vital to me so I've had to temporarily abandon the upgrade :(
