Error on upgrade or install NAS4Free

Post by veuke »

Hi, I'm currently running Freenas 0.7.2 (8191) on a Wyseterm (VIA Samuel 2 CPU), no issue here.
I would like to upgrade to NAS4Free but I cannot upgrade.
Via the WebGui it says:
The following input errors were detected:
The uploaded image file is not for this platform (i386-embedded).

When I make LiveCD I can run NAS4Free but I cannot install it on my flashdrive.
When trying to install it to the flashdrive (option 1), the system returns with an error: Failed to mount the CD-rom drive (strange because I just run LiveCD).
Is there a min. requirement on RAM?

Can anybody help me? Tip?

normal, FreeNAS detect a Nas44free img so it don't know how to upgrade, once you upgrade via liveCd or liveUSB, you can upgrade via WebGUI if use embeded.

try to use liveUSB use option 9 install , and next use your desired option ( embededd or full) and do the install in other USB ( not in the liveUSB), if works , you can unplug liveUSB and boot from new USB.
