WebGUI cannot be accessed!

Post by itmanager »

I have installed Nas4free BUILD 9.1.0.1.531
From my PC (with Windows XP) I can ping Nas4Free (IP 192.168.1.40) but I can't access the WEBGUI. Firewall is disabled!
From Nas4Free I can ping my PC.
I see that from a bug "WebGUI cannot be accessed" is fixed since 9.0.0.1.228
What I can do now?
thanks

default IP is 192.168.1.250 , do you change to 192.168.1.40? , how?
if you change from shell, you need to add gateway and DNS servers too, to ping from NAS to PC.

PD: What Browser do you use?.
12.1.0.4 - Ingva (revision 7743) on SUPERMICRO X8SIL-F 8GB of ECC RAM, 11x3TB disk in 1 vdev = Vpool = 32TB Raw size , so 29TB usable size (I Have other NAS as Backup)

...
today I boot nas4free and, after all init/booting procedures, nas4free end with the root prompt?!
I have rebooted 3/4 times with same results.

So I have reinstalled Nas4Free and changes the IP address and gateway and DNS...

Now I can browse to 192.168.1.40 and access to webGUI with chrome/explorer and firefox!!!

...but if I add two HD I have problems (missing system disk). But the first disk to boot is right checked in bios!
Now I reinstall all using full installation (and not embedded)
