hi,
i have got a problem with samba performance especially with big files.
the copy process starts with about 35-40 MB/S some times even betwenn 75-120 MB/s
and drops down after about 500 MB to 5-8 MB/S
i tried a view modifications in the samba setup but with no oter result
any ideas?

post a jpg of your samba config, and if you have enable tunning of some kernel variables, a jpg too.
PD: Default RX and TX values of SAMBA are 64240, please try 64240/2 and 64240x2 and tell us if something change.
