690 system_edit.php is wrong.
http://svn.code.sf.net/p/nas4free/code/ ... m_edit.php is OK, so change (/usr/local/www) it and editor will work.
:idea: Turn on ssh, and use winscp for example :idea: i hate vi :twisted:

Dnar sneaks quietly out of this thread through the ssh tunnel he setup earlier, with his vi, awk, sed and emacs under his arm...

Zoon01:

Just a thought on new releases....

When you have a new release arrive, the Changelog is showing ALL changes from the 226 version onwards. This is fine, but can be somewhat confusing.

For future release Changelogs, could it contain ONLY the changes/updates/fixes between the previous version and the newest? Say, just the changes between 636 and 687 for example.

This would allow users to more easily see what is new and fixed since the last version. A master Changelog file could be compiled separately that would list all changes since the earliest version, but would be a separate document.

Just a thought on making it easier for all...

Regards,

Mark

I'm also interested in the expected release date for the file editor fix. I know there are alternatives, but I do find it convenient. 8-)

I know this is not commercial software, but since I use it and greatly appreciate it I have donated to the effort - THANKS for the continued work on it!

Has anyone tested LACP and LAGG on the new builds? It was broken in 636, never saw if there was a resolution.

Not entirely: works properly in English if UTF-8 is selected
In French it is impossible I have this error:

Yes, thank you but it was mostly for the correction to be built, there is still the choice of font for accented characters (ah, those French!)

I tried to specify in fr.php iso-8859-1 instead of utf-8.

This solves the problem for the content of fr.php and fr_mimes.php but introduced a bug display in the top banner.

hi

the problem is the the language files are not UTF-8 but ANSI.
If u use windows:
- turn on ssh
- use winscp to download from nas4free to windows the lang files (/usr/local/www/quixplorer/_lang)
- open lang files and convert then from ansi to utf-8 (ie. notepad++)
- upload the files
- enjoy

With v9.1.0.1.690 under SMB/CIFS the checkbox doesn't stick when I check "Enable use sendfile" and then click the button [save and restart]. I've checked "/var/etc/smb.conf" whether it was a cosmetic bug, but there isn't a "sendfile" configuration entry.
9.2.0.1 revision 943 x86 VM;
640MB RAM, E1000, LSI Logic Parallel Virtual mapping:
CIFS/SMB (w enable tuning + large r/w + browse master, w-o use sendfile + AIO): ~32MB/s read & ~20MB/s write, iperf ~366Mbit/s;
on Atom D525, 4GB DDR3, ESXi 5.1u2 with VM's on 60GB SSD Vertex 2, raw disk 2TB WD20EARX, USB3.0 HDD casing with 3TB WD30EFRX.
