Hi, I'm new to pretty much anything non-windows. I'm trying to set up a NAS for my Sea Cadet unit and I'm having a few teething problems.
I'm trying to set up shares for multiple people, in some instances I need one user to have full control over a folder and others to have read access only. In other instances I need a group to have full control and another to have read access only. I've been using WINSCP to set up the permissions to shares I've created through the webgui but I can only set permissions for one group and one user on there, not two groups. I'm wondering if another of the services within nas4free might be a better bet, but I can't find one that's likely to work better.
Any help would be appreciated.
James

Re: Shares for multiple groups
Thanks for the replies, I'd already checked the FAQs and found those examples by Alexey but they only cover a single permission set per folder. I'll check out the pages on that last link you posted and update as soon as I get the chance Al.
I forgot all the info I should've posted last night: I'm running nas4free x86 v9.1.0.1.531 full install to the hard drive in my NAS. I doubt the hardware'll make much difference, but I can find out exactly what it is and post it if anyone thinks it might help. All I know at the mo is I've got a P3 1GHz CPU and 512MB RAM.
