I know a lot of people have already confirmed this, but just for the record I would inform that in http://wiki.nas4free.org/doku.php?id=na ... _computers you could also add Hp Proliant Microserver N40L. It works out of the box and is capable of booting from usb just fine (thought about adding it myself, but seems that I cannot create an acount in wiki.)
Also I am using for almost two years now a Promise S150 TX4 SATA Controller which could also be added in http://wiki.nas4free.org/doku.php?id=na ... ontrollers
EDIT: would like to also add that Samsung 2TB SAMSUNG HD204UI, Hitachi Deskstar HDS725050KLA360 500GB, Seagate ST1500DL003-9VT16L 1.5TB, Seagate ST31500541AS 1.5TB and Samsung SAMSUNG HD154UI 1.5TB HDDs are working just fine, so they could be added in http://wiki.nas4free.org/doku.php?id=na ... ata_drives

Thank you,
you can always give the admins a reply like al562 or email al562@nas4free.org.
I'm shure they will put it on the wiki.
