I am running rsync server on my Nas4free, the client is a Reaynas Ultra, which I want to backup to the nas4free box.
All the files are transferred sussesfully but I get the following error message in the log:
rsyncd[24155]: rsync: failed to set permissions on "/xxxxx/xxxx/.AppleDouble" (in share): Operation not permitted (1)
The user that runs rsync is nas4free (standard settings)
I have tried to run chown and chmod on the directories but it doesnt help.
The files exists on the both systems so the error is only the permission setting.
Any tips?

Re: Rsync error with .appledouble files
Find the solution:
Had to add user and group in the module page in nas4free. I had left them blank before.
Although strange that only 5 of thousands directories gave the error.
